Head of Engineering — VelorStrategy Workspace

Role Overview

This role leads the engineering for VelorStrategy Workspace — Stratenity’s consulting operating system for boards, client rooms, delivery dashboards, and execution workflows. Approximately 70% of the role is focused on technical architecture, product engineering, and platform reliability, with 30% focused on cross-functional collaboration with advisory, design, and data teams to translate consulting workflows into robust product features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture and roadmap for VelorStrategy Workspace across back-end, front-end, and integration layers.
  • Design and scale secure workspaces, client rooms, and delivery dashboards for consulting and strategy teams.
  • Translate advisory frameworks into productized flows, templates, and reusable components.
  • Guide engineering standards for reliability, observability, security, and data privacy.
  • Collaborate with advisory and product leads to define backlog, milestones, and release cadence.
  • Mentor and grow a small, high-caliber engineering team working in a remote, distributed model.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; MBA or product background is a plus.
  • Experience architecting and shipping B2B SaaS products (preferably in consulting, analytics, or workflow tools).
  • Strong familiarity with modern web stacks (e.g., TypeScript/Node, React, Postgres, cloud-native architectures).
  • Comfort working with data models for engagements, dashboards, roles/permissions, and multi-tenant design.
  • Proven ability to balance speed, quality, and technical debt in an early-stage product environment.

Head of Engineering — Straten AI

Role Overview

This role leads engineering for Straten AI — the layer that powers consulting copilots, agents, and AI advisory flows across the Stratenity stack. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on model integration, orchestration, safety, and tooling, with 30% focused on collaborating with advisory leaders to encode domain expertise in AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical design for Straten AI agents, orchestration services, and prompt / tool pipelines.
  • Integrate and manage multi-provider LLM architectures, including routing, evaluation, and monitoring.
  • Implement safety, governance, and policy layers for AI usage in consulting workflows.
  • Work with advisory teams to translate strategy playbooks into agentic workflows and co-pilot behaviors.
  • Lead experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and AI performance evaluation for consulting use cases.
  • Ensure that Straten AI components can be reused across VelorStrategy, Collasia, VelorOne, and OneMind Strata.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in software engineering with experience in ML/LLM-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, vector DBs, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation pipelines.
  • Understanding of AI safety, governance, and risk in enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to align AI capabilities with real advisory needs.

Head of Engineering — Collasia Community & Marketplace

Role Overview

This role leads engineering for Collasia — Stratenity’s community and marketplace layer that connects consultants, advisors, and clients. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on platform architecture, graph and marketplace design, and integrations, with 30% dedicated to working with growth, community, and product to ensure the experience supports meaningful collaboration and monetization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Collasia’s core data model (profiles, communities, content, marketplace listings, transactions).
  • Build features for discovery, curation, reputation, and trusted collaboration across the network.
  • Integrate payments, billing, and monetization rails in alignment with Stratenity’s business model.
  • Work with growth and community teams to support onboarding flows, engagement loops, and analytics.
  • Ensure secure, compliant handling of user data and marketplace activity.

Qualifications

  • Experience building community platforms, B2B marketplaces, or networked SaaS products.
  • Strong data modeling skills for user graphs, activity logs, and marketplace transactions.
  • Comfort with payments / billing integration and related security practices.

Head of Engineering — VelorOne Matching

Approximately 70% of the role focuses on matching algorithms, data signals, and system design, with 30% focused on partnering with product and advisory to define matching criteria and value signals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement matching algorithms combining rules, embeddings, and behavioral signals.
  • Define and manage the data model for profiles, skills, project requirements, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with advisory and product leaders to capture “fit” and “value” dimensions in matching logic.
  • Build experimentation and feedback systems to continuously improve match quality.
  • Integrate VelorOne with Collasia, VelorStrategy Workspace, and OneMind Strata data sources.

  • Experience with recommendation systems, matching engines, or marketplace ranking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the design and implementation of retrieval and RAG pipelines across Stratenity products.
  • Define evaluation frameworks for LLM quality, reliability, and guardrail performance.
  • Work with security and governance leads to embed policy enforcement and auditability.
  • Optimize infra for latency, cost, and reliability in a multi-tenant, multi-product environment.
  • Collaborate closely with OneMind Strata on embeddings, indexing strategy, and ontology-driven retrieval.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience with LLM infrastructures, vector databases, and retrieval architectures.
  • Background in large-scale backend or infra engineering (cloud-native, observability, scaling).

Head of Engineering — OneMind Strata (Research & Knowledge Graph)

This role leads engineering for OneMind Strata — Stratenity’s research layer and knowledge graph. Approximately 70% of the role is focused on data modeling, graph and ontology design, ingestion pipelines, and embeddings, with 30% focused on working with advisory, research, and LLM teams to ensure that knowledge assets are structured, searchable, and reusable across the OS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the core knowledge graph and ontology for Stratenity’s research assets and frameworks.
  • Build ingestion pipelines for documents, cases, frameworks, and external data sources.
  • Implement embedding strategies and indexing approaches optimized for consulting and strategy content.
  • Collaborate with Stratenity LLM and Straten AI teams on retrieval, context construction, and grounding.
  • Work with advisory teams to encode domain structures (industries, functions, frameworks) into the graph.

Qualifications

  • Experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or semantic data modeling.
  • Background in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and structured/unstructured data processing.
  • Familiarity with embeddings, similarity search, and search relevance tuning.

Common Profile for All Six Roles

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data/AI, or related field; MBA or equivalent business exposure is a plus.
  • Experience building and leading high-caliber engineering teams in early-stage or growth-stage environments.
  • Comfort working in remote, distributed teams across time zones (US and Middle East).
  • Ability to move between high-level architecture and hands-on problem solving when needed.
  • Interest in consulting, enterprise workflows, and AI-powered strategy tools.
